Gemineye App (“Gemineye,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Gemineye mobile application and related services.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, operate, and improve the App and its features.

a. Information You Provide Directly

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, gender, date of birth, and profile photo.

Connection Preferences: Types of connections you seek (friendship, business, romantic, etc.).

User Content: Messages, photos, responses to conversation cards, and other content you upload or communicate through the App.

b. Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as IDFV), IP address, and language settings.

Usage Data: In-App actions, session duration, interaction logs, and feature usage.

Location Data: With your explicit consent, we collect approximate or precise location to provide nearby matches and location-based features. You may revoke access at any time via your device settings.

c. Information from Third-Party Integrations

If you choose to sign in using third-party platforms (e.g., Apple, Google, Facebook), we may receive your name, email, profile picture, or other shared information according to their privacy settings.

d. Tracking Technologies (iOS Requirement)

With your permission, the App may use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to allow or prevent tracking across third-party apps and websites. You may opt-out at any time in your iOS device settings.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To create and manage your account.

To personalize your experience and tailor connection recommendations.

When you delete your account, we will either delete or anonymize your information unless we are required to retain specific data by law.

7. Children’s Privacy

Gemineye does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.

If we learn that information from a child under 13 has been collected without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

Users between ages 13–17 must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside your own. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to such jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be effective upon posting within the App. Continued use of the App after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
